At 3rd Culture Healing, we believe in the great power of medicines that come from the earth to nurture and heal the mind, body, and spirit. Our approach integrates traditional and indigenous practices to promote overall well-being and healing. With a focus on personalized care and individual needs, we strive to create a supportive and healing environment for every client.
Rooster is a multi-racial, third-gender human and the co-founder of 3rd Culture Healing. They have been in relationship with medicina since the age of 15. Since childhood, they have cultivated an ongoing relationship with the spirit of uhong (mushrooms), a connection deeply rooted in their cultural traditions and lived experience. In adulthood, Rooster has further developed intentional relationships with a variety of earth medicines, each of which they work with in different capacities and with deep respect.
For Rooster, building relationship with natural medicines is a lifelong practice grounded in reverence, reciprocity, and responsibility. They hold these medicines as sacred and choose to receive and serve only those with which they have cultivated a deep, ongoing relationship. Their approach is guided not by trends or ideology, but by listening, lived experience, cultural teachings, and a commitment to honoring the medicines on their own terms.
Through 3rd Culture Healing, Rooster offers a space where people can prepare for, integrate, and deepen their relationships with earth medicines and with themselves. Their work is rooted in cultural humility, relational healing, and the understanding that transformation unfolds through connection—to community, ancestry, the natural world, and one's own inner wisdom. Rather than positioning themselves as someone with all the answers, Rooster walks alongside others with compassion, curiosity, and respect for each person's unique path.

Niko Summers is a ceremonialist, facilitator, teacher and advocate for transformational healing, whose path has been shaped by profound personal experiences with sacred medicines, spirituality, and embodied healing.
Through his own journey of healing and self-discovery, Niko has developed a deep and evolving relationship with medicines such as Bufo, Kambo, and other plant and earth medicines. Niko approaches this work through a trauma-informed and heart-centered lens, emphasizing preparation, consent, safety, cultural respect, humility, and integration. He believes medicine can serve as a powerful teacher and catalyst for awareness, but that lasting transformation ultimately comes through the work we do, with what has been revealed.
His path is grounded in the belief that healing is not linear and that authentic spiritual growth requires courage, accountability, compassion, and community. Niko is passionate about creating spaces where people can feel witnessed without judgment, reconnect with themselves, and explore deeper dimensions of their healing and spiritual lives.
Rather than positioning himself as someone who has all the answers, Niko honors the role of lifelong student while guiding others as a teacher through mentorship and apprenticeships. He continues to learn, listen, question, and deepen his relationship with the medicines, traditions, and communities that have influenced his path.
At the heart of his work is a simple intention: to walk in right relationship and integrity with himself, with others, with the medicines, and with the living world.

We are a collective of gender-diverse BIPOC folks, dedicated to working with earth and indigenous medicines. We are dedicated to service of the medicines in their teachings and their healings. With a focus on respect for the medicines and compassion for all beings, we offer a variety of medicines to support individuals in their journey towards emotional well-being and self-discovery.
